It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gerald “Jerry” Tracy announce his peaceful passing at the Passamaquoddy Lodge in St Andrews on January 7, 2026.
Jerry was born in Blacks Harbour, NB in 1959 to the late Carl and Doreen Tracy.
Throughout his life Jerry enjoyed camping, woodworking, music, tinkering with electronics, motorcycles, and Family. He was a dedicated employee at the Lake Utopia Paper Mill for 39 years, retiring in 2019.
He was predeceased by his father Carl Tracy, mother Doreen, son Jonathan, and brother Carlie, sister-in-law Lucy, and nephew Terry. As well as by his father-in-law, Donnie Dickieson, mother-in-law Shirley, brothers-in-law Wade & Wayne, and sister-in-law Marilyn.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Donalda, nee Dickieson, son Jeffrey (Danielle), sister Kim (Karen) Spellman-Tracy, daughter-in-law Krystine, grandchildren Adalyn, Everlee, Isabelle, Julien, and Luka. As well as nieces Wendy (Heath) Cooke, Holly (Matt) Adams, Caitlin Barry (Mike), and nephews Scott (Karen) Tracy, Matthew Barry, and great nieces and nephews.
A Service will be held at the Presbyterian Kirk Church in St. George, NB at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Internment will take place at the Hartsville Presbyterian Cemetery on Prince Edward Island at a later date.

Thank you to the Extra-Mural nurses who cared for Jerry before entering the nursing home and to the Staff of the Passamaquoddy Lodge for their care of him while there and the support given to the family in their time of need. Thank you also to all friends and neighbours who have been amazing support throughout his time of failing health.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made in Jerry’s name to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, the Hartsville Cemetery in PEI, or to a charity of choice.
