To the Kohler families, so sorry for your loss. I have wonderful memories of times that Claire and my mom, Mary would get together to share their creativity and friendship. She was a great friend and a wonderful lady.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you

I became acquainted with Claire as a toddler - who was the mother of my good friend, and classmate grades 1-12, her (late) son, Mike. I have memories of playing with Mike at the Kohler home on Water Street - the apartments across from the current Dollar store. She encouraged me when I entered nursing a decade or so after she did and we would compare notes when we would run into one another. She was such a lovely and talented person - and it was wonderful to visit with her at home over the past few years and this past year at the Lodge. Sending sincere condolences to all the family on the passing of their dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

I met Claire when we started nursing together, we lived across the hall from each other and I traveled back and forth to St.Andrews with her . She was one of the most amazing and wonderful people I have ever had the honor of calling my friend. She loved her boys and somehow managed both studying and raising the boys and doing both very well.
As we traveled in different directions we always kept in touch and enjoyed lunch whenever we could.
A special lady who will be missed by many and who left her mark on many .
