Taylor, Douglas N.
Doug died unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital surrounded by love on December 12, 2025. Born August 16, 1941, to Wilbur and Phyllis Taylor in Winslow ME USA. Doug grew up in Winslow graduating from Winslow High in 1959.
Doug went on to attend and graduate from Farmington State Teachers College. He taught school briefly in Maine before moving to Canada as a young man. Settling in Maple Ridge British-Columbia, where he spent the bulk of his teaching career. He also participated in teaching exchanges, spending 2 years teaching in Australia.
Upon retirement Doug moved to Tower Hill NB to live a quiet and peaceful life. This is where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling with his best friend Paul & Family.
Doug held a great knowledge of history, was an avid reader and was passionate about genealogy.
Doug leaves behind his chosen family, Paul, Wendy, Gage, Kael, Nicholas Brownrigg and Sarah, Dave, Wren, and Riggs Roy.

A Special thank you to the physicians and staff of Floor 1 and 2 at the Charlotte County Hospital as well as the staff of Extra-Mural St. Stephen for their kind and compassionate care.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
