Obituary of Freda Pauline Daley
Daley, Freda Pauline
Passed peacefully in the comfort of her Old Ridge Home on Wednesday December 10, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in St. Stephen she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Hilda (Spearin) McKeeman. She was predeceased by her husband Carroll Daley in 2021.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Katherine Hawthorne (Leslie) of St. Stephen, NB, Carol Ann Guitard (Mark) of Little Ridge, NB, and son Darrell (Diane) of St. Stephen New Brunswick, 8 grandchildren Billy Joe, Amanda, Michael, Darren, Donny, Kyle, Emily and Logan, 12 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchild, 1 Brother Ralph McKeeman of Westbrooke Maine, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her Parents and Carroll, Freda was predeceased by her son Donald and siblings; Sheldon McKeeman, Inez McLaughlin, Ruth Fraser, Carol McLaughlin, and Frederick McKeeman.
Freda absolutely loved to decorate cakes, and was an avid Soap opera watcher, keeping up with the stories until the very end but above else she loved her family. Freda worked as a homecare worker for Home Support Services St. Stephen for many years, and in her younger days worked for Conner’s Brothers, before moving to St. Stephen to work at the Tuna Plant.
The family would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you nurses and staff of NB Extra Mural St Stephen Unit and to her girls at Home Support, for the care & kindness shown to Freda and her family during this troublesome time.
By Freda’s request, cremation has taken place. A Graveside service will be held in the Spring at the Moore’s Mills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers: donations to Charlotte County Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
