Taylor-Marshall, Helen May Almeda (Nee Libby)
Passed peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick she was the daughter of the late George Albert and Doris (Williams) Libby. She was predeceased by her 3 spouses: Joseph Moffatt, John Marshall, and George Taylor.
Helen is survived by her children Darryl Moffatt, Joseph (Kathleen) Moffatt, stepdaughter Wendy Fagan, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, siblings: Freeman (Tanya) Libby, Harriet Dougherty, sisters-in law Donna, Marion, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and three spouses, Helen was predeceased by her son Kenneth (Tracy) Moffatt and siblings; Paul Libby, Stephen Libby, Mildred Ingersoll, and Lois Stevens.
Helen worked for Canadian Customs for more than 30 years, a career she genuinely enjoyed, upon retirement she lived in Calais for many years and was an active member of the Calais Methodist Church. After the passing of her husband George, she returned to Canada and enjoyed a quiet life.
Cremation has taken place; a graveside service of remembrance will be held at the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery at a later date in the Spring.
