Obituary of David Kenneth Tinker
TINKER, David K. - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Tuesday, August 19, 2025; David Kenneth Tinker, Husband of Joanne (Matthews) Tinker of Campobello, NB. Born in Campobello, NB. The son of the late Allen & Gladys (Robinson) Tinker.
David worked hard as a commercial fisherman most of his life and then worked with closely with his son Phillip in carrying on the tradition.
Surviving in addition to his wife Joanne of 55 years, are his two sons Phillip (Deanna) of St. Stephen, NB and Jonathan (Laurie) of Saint John, NB. Seven grandchildren; Christian (Leah), Brian (Payton), Jodie, Alexa, Emma, Havana & Peyton, four great grandsons, two brothers James (Marguerite) and John (Katrina), sister Donna (Medford) Parker, all of Campobello, NB, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
David was predeceased by his sisters Jean Johnson, Gloria Johnson, Martha Richmond, brother Allen and an infant brother Frank.
By David's request there will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, August 28th, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Wilsons Beach Community Cemetery, Head Harbour Road, Campobello, NB. Archdeacon John Matheson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wilsons Beach Community Cemetery or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
