Obituary of Pat Ingalls
Mrs. Edna (Pat) Patricia Ingalls of Castalia, Grand Manan Island, passed away at The Grand Manan Nursing Home on August 4, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Thorton and Agnes (Ward) Bainbridge. She worked at the factory in her early years, later on in life she had a used clothing business with Harold. In the summer she could be found on the beaches picking sea glass or puttering in her flower garden. Pat was a kind lady and was happy to have family and friends stop by for a cup of coffee and to work on a puzzle over laughs. She loved to go for drives and see the sights.
She is survived by her three children, one daughter Gail Ingalls (Royce Coston) of Barnesville, NB. Two sons; Frank Ingalls (Kim) of Utopia, NB and Geoff (Andrea) Ingalls of Upper Granville, Nova Scotia. Two sisters; Agnes Bainbridge of Dieppe NB, and Irene Scott (Lionel) of Castalia. Two brother Herbie Bainbridge (Cindy) of Deep Cove and John Bainbridge (Sharon) of Woodstock, NB, Seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her husband Harold Ingalls, parents, three brothers Gordie Bainbridge, Russell Bainbridge, and Gerald Bainbridge.
Visiting will take place on Saturday August 9th, 2025 at St. Paul's Anglican Church Grand Manan, NB from 12:30 pm until service time at 2:00 pm. The interment will immediately follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
The family have requested donations be made to The Grand Manan Hospital Foundation, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or the donor’s choice
