It is with great sadness that I learned of aunt Audrey's passing. She was a wonderful and loving lady. I wish I had been a better nephew to her as she never forgot about me or my siblings after the passing of our mother and her sister Nina Louise Pearson. Every Christmas and birthday for 57 years she did not miss one. There was a card and a hand written letter in each and every one until last Christmas. I enjoyed reading them and appreciated the love she gave me up to the end. She always talked about her family and what was going on at White Head pop. 150 lol. She would talk about fishing, the weather, how to be a good Christian. This is how she made herself part of my life. Even though my Mom and her sister passed at such an early age she and my aunt Marion made sure that I knew my family on my mother's side and I can't express how much I love her for doing that. It would have been nice if we had of been closer as the distance was always an obstacle. There is one more bright shining star in the sky now and that's my aunt Audrey. To say that my cousin's and her family members aren't being thought of now by me would be an understatement. I will celebrate my aunt Audrey's life as it was a life full of love, kindness, spiritually and adventure. I am very proud to be a member of the Thompson/Cossaboom family and I will make sure her memory lives on in my children. I love you aunt Audrey Rest in peace

My sympathies to all who loved Audrey. I always enjoyed visiting her, hearing her laughter and great stories in her lovely warm home. I also enjoyed hearing her play at church. She will be missed.

My sincere condolences to all of Audrey’s family and friends. It’s interesting the things that come to mind when I’ve been away from Grand Manan. But I remember visiting the family when I was about eight. What I remember is the good natured laughter and hospitality. God bless you all.
