Obituary of Candice Lee Trecartin
Trecartin, Candice "Candy" Lee
Passed peacefully surrounded by her family on July 16, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 65. Born in Taxis River New-Brunswick she was the daughter of the late Kenneth & Gladys (Stewart) Gibson.
She is survived by her husband William “Bill” Trecartin, children; Thomas Wilson (Adina), Laura Wilson (Corey), Jason Wilson, step-children; Tiffany Trecartin (Shane), Nathaniel Trecartin (Renee), grandchildren; Belle Clarke, Chase Clarke, Sophia Wilson, Brantley Trecartin, Ella Baker, Sophia Baker, sister Nancy Storey (Gene), cousins and special friends Gary and Sandra English, her brother in-law Rodney Trecartin (Norah), her sister-in-law Daphne Gibson and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased in addition to her parents by brothers Terrance Gibson and Daniel Gibson and special niece Tracy Gibson.
Candy was an avid knitter, quilter and enjoyed crocheting, photography and a good game of bingo. A drive through the woods was a particular favourite past time of hers. Despite not being very good at singing, she would sing often. Her family was the most important to her especially her grandchildren, she cherished every moment with them, never letting them leave hungry.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital ER for their kind and compassionate care.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside memorial service in honour of Candy at 2pm on Wednesday July 23, 2025, at the White Head Island Cemetery, on White Head Island.
