Obituary of Michael R. Maillet
MAILLET MICHAEL R. - Michael Maillet passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025; Michael Robert Maillet, husband of Maryanne (Glass) Maillet of St. Stephen, NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB on Dec 29, 1952. He is the son of the late Flavien & Yvonne (French) Maillet.
Michael worked for a number of years as a Forest Ranger with the province of NB, then went on to work at Point Lepreau.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 46 years-Maryanne, his daughter Michelle of Los Angeles, CA, U.S.A., son Nick (Annessia Lincoln) of St. Stephen, NB.
In addition he is survived by his grandchildren-Honora Maillet, Rowick Maillet and Griffin Maillet. He is also survived by his sister in law Marlene Maillet, brother in law Richard Glass and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his parents, brother Paul Maillet and sister Maxine Louks
By Michael’s request cremation will take place. A memorial mass of christian burial will take place on Monday, July 14th, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church. Fr. Dass as celebrant.
A time of visitation with the family followed by a reception at St. Patrick’s home will occur immediately after the mass.
In lieu of flowers donations to Charlotte County Cancer society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
