Deb,
Sending heartfelt condolences on the loss of Charlie. My mother (Cathy Cullinan) and father (Bernard Cullinan) loved staying at your beautiful red herring guest cottage on Grand Manan for multiple summers. They always enjoyed getting to see you and Charlie upon arrival. My mother cherishes those memories of staying at your place on Grand Manan especially now that my father has passed away (Feb 2025).
With deep sympathy,
Heather and Cathy Cullinan

It was my honor and privilege to review hundreds of photos from
Charlie’s life in order to assemble two videos for his celebration
of life. His love of family and friends, positive and welcoming
spirit and joie de vivre was ever present in these photos. He
touched so many people and had so many adventures, the
videos could be hours long, but here is a link to two versions
to add to your memories of our dear Charlie:

Charlie was a joy to play bridge with and conversations afterwards were a highlight of our week here on Saturday nights. His art was quirky, his kindness was abundant, his wit was dry, and his joy and enthusiasm for nature, dogs, and many other things was evident every time we met. I so enjoyed his company and getting to know his pup Luna. He is going to be missed greatly.

My heartfelt condolences to Deb and the rest of Charlie’s family. It always seemed to me that Charlie was one of nature’s gentlemen: calm, kind, thoughtful and reflective. How wonderful that his final days were as he wished them to be.
My best regards,
Laurel

My deepest sympathy over the loss of Charlie. Only knew Charlie to speak to but he always spoke when I seen him and I will never forget a yoga retreat we attended and the story of his wedding/honeymoon with Deb still makes me laugh. One of a kind for sure, you will be missed . Much love Deb ~hugs~

Charlie was a class act. Thoughtful , caring, never boastful ,always interested in what others were doing . He , however , was very competitive , and loved playing Pickleball ,especially when he was on the winning side .I will miss our divergent conversations ,with topics ranging from politics and finance to how much he loved Canada , especially Grand Manan..

Dear Deborah and family, we share with you, your loss of Charlie, a wonderful person and friend. Someone more encouraging and humble along with his many fine attributes would be difficult to find. We enjoyed hearing of his Outward bound experiences and his thoughts on diverse topics at our Brightness sessions. May God bless you Charlie in your journey and discoveries in the next world for the wonderful example you set for us here on Grand Manan.
Loving greetings,
Bill and Liz Edgar
