Obituary of Erin K. Huckins
It is with great sadness the family of Erin Kate (Brown) Huckins announces her sudden passing on June 13th, 2025.
Born on February 28th, 1979, on Grand Manan to parents Bill and Roberta Brown, Erin was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She had nothing but a positive impact on every person that knew her.
Her natural talent to help others touched many lives, and her big, bright smile had such a contagious effect. She was devoted to her work, as an Educational Assistant at GMCS. Loved by students and staff alike, she had an extraordinary ability to connect with whoever she encountered. She deeply loved the children and coworkers she was surrounded with.
Erin is survived by her husband Tony, her son Conner (Madison), and her daughter Peyton (Justin), her mother and father, Bill and Roberta, sister Wanda, nieces Samantha and Josie, nephews Beverly, Max and Ryan, grandmother Betty, as well as mother-in-law and father-in-law Caulder and Beryl.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th at Immanuel Family Church from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm, followed by a funeral service Friday, June 20th at 1:00pm.
Donations to Action Ministries or a charity of the donors choosing would be appreciated by the family. Those who wish to bring flowers, the family requests wildflowers as those were her favourite. Online condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com.
The family would like to thank the community for the overwhelming love and support throughout the last few days, as well as days ahead. It is clear she was loved by many.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Phillip Ells Jr. Memorial Funeral Centre, a service of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506-466-3110)
