Obituary of Ashley Suzanne Green
Green, Ashley Suzanne
With great sorrow, we share the untimely passing of Ashley Suzanne Green, 31, of Grand Manan, NB, a beloved wife, cherished friend, and vibrant spirit, who left us on May 4th, 2025. Her absence will be profoundly felt.
Ashley graduated from Grand Manan Community School in 2011 and went on to study Information Technology and Network Support at NBCC Saint Andrews before returning to the Island. Her love of technology continued through her business of repairing electronics, helping with projects for the Visitor Information Center, and her love for video games. Ashley was also involved with every election, and she could make friends wherever she went.
In her earlier years, Ashley loved the time she spent with friends. She enjoyed playing manhunt, going out to camp, watching scary movies, playing Mario Party and Smash Bros, and having sleepovers. Ashley had an unwavering love for music, often found at concerts that brought her happiness. Her enthusiasm for video games was equally infectious, as she enjoyed being victorious and creating lasting memories along the way.
Ashley met the love of her life, Patrick Green, 12 years ago. The couple married on their ten-year anniversary in a celebration surrounded by their family and friends on New Years Eve. Ashley loved her time with Pat; their many concert trips, their pets Lulu, Berry and Alice, and their time surrounded by friends. Pat was with Ashley during the most challenging times in her life, including the loss of her brother Nickolas (2020), and her father Tracy (2023).
As we celebrate Ashley’s life, we remember her kindness, humour and unwavering support of her loved ones, despite the very difficult hand she was dealt. Ash will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ashley is survived by her loving husband Patrick Green of Castalia, mother Julanna (Parker) Green of Castalia, her grandparents Herbert and Susan Parker of North Head, Uncle Dana Green of Woodwards Cove, and Aunt Mable Bonnar-Smith (“Mamie”) of North Head.
Ashley is predeceased by her brother Nickolas Green, father Tracy Green, grandparents Walter and Roberta Green, Aunt Janice Russell, and Uncle Gary Green.
There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Phillip Ells Jr. Memorial Funeral Centre - a service of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110).
