



Obituary of Joanne Alice Kinney
JOANNE ALICE KINNEY
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joanne Kinney announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 24th, 2025.
Joanne is the daughter of the late Robert Greenier and Florence (Duplessie) Caissie.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband Robert Kinney. Daughters- Amy McCrum (David), Judy McFarlane (Joe Voutt), Jodie Ross (Tony) and Angie Kinney. Grandchildren- Alicia (Cody), Courtney (Dave), Kelsey (Mike), Kristen (Nathan), Luke and Makenzie. Joanne had 10 great grandchildren that she loved dearly , 7 siblings Judy, Robert, Patricia, Michael, Lori, Jamie and Melanie. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joanne was predeceased by her parents and siblings Donnie, Donna and Teresa.
Joanne was a retired caregiver. She enjoyed spending her time with family, lunches with friends and caring for her beloved dog Jessie. Joanne was proud of her grandchildren and never missed a milestone or event.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Mackin and the staff at the Palliative Care unit at SJRH. Donations can be made to the Palliative Care unit or a charity of one’s choice in her memory.
As per Joanne’s wishes a private graveside service will be held.
