



Obituary of Wayne Libby
Wayne Libby passed Monday at his home in St. Stephen NB after his battle with cancer. Wayne was born in 1958 at the Charlotte County hospital in St Stephen, NB. He was the son of the late Granville and Mildred Libby. He is predeceased by his wife Carolyn Greer. Wayne is survived by his younger brother Daniel Libby, older sisters Christine Richard and Louise Cook along with several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was a mason and worked at the Algonquin in his younger years. He enjoyed time spent outdoors and fishing.Throughout his life he enjoyed time with family and friends. Wayne had a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling a joke. He always had a funny story to share in hopes of making those around him smile.
The family would like to thank all of the staff that cared for Wayne during his battle with cancer. We are grateful for the care provided by his home support workers. We would also like to thank his Extra Mural nurse Kim who went above and beyond for Wayne and his family.The kindness and care will always be remembered.
By Wayne's request, there will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. A private family graveside service will happen at a later date.
