Obituary of Anthony Douglas Cleghorn
Cleghorn, Anthony Douglas
Passed peacefully on Tuesday March 11, 2025, at the Charlotte County Hospital. Born in St. Stephen New-Brunswick he was the son of the late Jack Cocrane and Diane Harris (Cleghorn).
He is survived by his siblings; Lori McFarlane ( Toni), Jeff Harris, Step-father, Doug Harris, nephew Parker Harris, Aunts and Uncles; Larry Cleghorn (Bonnie), Janet Cleghorn, Betty Feltmate (Allison Keddy), Michael Cleghorn (Carol), Arthur Cleghorn, Connie Sabattus (Late Jeff) and many nieces, nephews and cousin.
Predeceased by his aunt Susan (Murray Toft), Uncle Stephen Cleghorn and nephew Brody McFarlane.
Anthony was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to fish and hunt and would bring his dog Biscuit everywhere with him. He was a hard worker, working in the Salmon and construction industries all his life. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the Charlotte County Hospital, a very special thank you to Judy Cleghorn, Eleanor Christie and his brother Jeff for their kind and compassionate care shown towards Anthony.
Cremation has taken place, a memorial graveside will be held at the Moores Mills Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
For those who wish, a donation to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
