Am so sorry to hear of June’s death and the pain her family must be feeling at her loss. June and I both being walkers, met each other often on the streets of Saint Andrews, and she always greeted me with a smile and a cheering word. When my husband died two years ago, June was so comforting- her kind words will never be forgotten. After Egan died, I sat with June at her kitchen table and she shared wonderful memories of their life together. She understood loss and grief, but lived her life with gratitude and kindness. She will be missed. RIP dear June.

It brought tears to my eyes to hear of her passing.. She always insisted on receiving a hug from me whenever we meet each other on the streets. I can close my eyes and still feel and envison our hugs.
What a gift it is to live in this human body, to feel the love and embrace in our heart and soul.
She left me a wonderful gift.
My condolences and love.

June was such a familiar figure on Water Street in St Andrews. Always with a small smile and a warm 'hello', June made her way around town every day. It didn't matter if it was warm and sunny or cool and windy June was out for her walk and a visit with everyone she met. The weather didn't seem to deter her much. She was a determined lady and a valuable part of our neighbourhood. She was a kind woman and will be sorely missed by many of us.
Our condolences and warm thoughts go out to June;s daughter, Tara and her two children Shannon and Kevin. June was very proud of these boys.
We will long remember June and her quiet ways. With great sincerity, Bertha Taylor Day and Jude James.
