Bladen, Ethel
Passed peacefully in the comfort of her home on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the age of eighty-five. Born in Yorkshire, England, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel (Cook) Bladen.
She is survived by her children; Christine Thompson (Joseph Walker), Lynn Rienguette (Bill), grandchildren; Micheal, Lindsay (Josh), Matthew, Jamie-Lynn, great-grandchildren; Melissa (Stirling), Zach, Camryn, Sarah, great-great grandchildren; Adley, Kinsley, Wren, siblings; Clarice Kane and many nieces and nephews in England.
Predeceased in addition to her parents by her grandson Steven and sister Pauline Futers.
Ethel was very entrepreneurial opening up a medical business supporting her and her family, a business that is still in operation to this day, a testament to her commitment. She was a very active member at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 501 in Lambeth Ontario, she held many rolls for the Ladies Auxiliary including President and Secretary. She was fiercely independent, loved to travel and play darts.
As per Ethel’s wishes cremation has taken place, no visitation or services will be held at this time.
For those who wish, a donation to your local RCL Ladies Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
