I was shocked when I learned of this,I have known Barb for many years and considered her family,I have had many laughs with her and I always laughed at how addicted she and my wife Dee were to the game Guitar Hero! She made my brother Mike very happy and they were together 24/7.I will truly miss her.

Dear Barb, I hope you like the flower arrangement
I made for you
The blue colors match your eyes
The white roses your beauty
And the daisies your simplicity
I will keep these in memory of you my friend…XO

I first met Barb when she was 16, dark hair with violet blue eyes, so pretty, often mistaken for another local beauty. This was my brother’s girlfriend, had 2 beautiful girls, Samantha & Stephanie.I instantly liked Barb & soon would love her.
Thought of her as a sister, we was about the same size so as I’d pass down some of my clothes, that she appreciated. Also thought of her sister Terri as my little sister…lots of good memories of all of us.
I loved that she could put my out of control, at times, in place with her strain look…lol… an example, Kelly wanted to borrow my car and I said no… she had ran over a big rock and I had a big dent in the floor from her…anyway Kelly was trying to wrestle the keys out of my hand, which Karl came to my defense and she was wrestling with Karl too. Barb came through the door and Kelly-Jo instantly gave up, all Barb had to do was look at her… lol… I still chuckle thinking of that.
We often referred to Barb as Barbie. She loved that old Mustang she had and I often dreamt out loud of buying her a pink mustang, Barbie in her pink mustang…
I love the time that she got the nerve to race Karl’s race car at the local race track and she was out there racing… too funny… loved it… I liked to also refer to Barb as our Barb, she always had her arms open for us.
As time went on life changes and I moved away. Kept a check on her but we had grown apart until the last few years
Through fb & messenger, we had reconnected a few years ago, was able to get together at Grand Falls.
I was so happy to have her again as my friend, she would reach out to me tex messaging, which I’m going to miss.
I’m also happy that she was very happy with her common law husband, Micheal Roy. Their love for each other, could easily be seen for how they cared for one another.
I’m so sorry for the loss to the families, especially my two nieces, Samantha and Stephanie, her two sisters Terri (best friends always) Tammy. My heart goes out to the family & friends…
Sleep Peacefully Barb, love you forever…XO
