TOWNES PAULINE – Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital on Tuesday August 5th, 2025; Phyllis Pauline Townes, wife of Wallace Hazen Townes of St. Stephen, NB. Born in St. Stephen, she is the daughter of the late Harry & Novella (Scott) McLaughlin.
Pauline was a devout Christian woman. She was a member of Old Ridge Pentecostal Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband Wallace of 63 years; are her 2 daughters Kim Taylor (Rev. Lloyd Taylor) of Oromocto West, NB, Wanda Grieve – Carter of Fredericton, NB, one sister Eileen Leavitt of Calais, ME, U.S.A., 2 grandchildren Eden Townes, MacKenzie Townes, daughter in law Lisa Townes - Fraser
Pauline was predeceased by two sons Fabian McLaughlin & Stephen Townes, sisters Mary, Elsie, Verna, brothers Wallace, John & Roland.
Resting at Old Ridge Pentecostal Church where the family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Thursday August 7th, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The funeral service in celebration of her life will take place on Friday August 8th, 2025 at 2:00 pm. The interment will immediately follow at Moore’s Mills Rural Cemetery.
