I just heard of Glenn’s passing. I last spoke to him a few years ago about a common friend that had passed away. Reminiscing about our good times together in Moose Jaw sure felt good. You will be missed my friend.

Our deepest sympathies to “ Sister Dear” as Glenn called you, Norma and family. Although we never met , all of us in Greenwood certainly heard about you. Glenn spoke fondly of you all the time. We were disappointed when he left Greenwood, but knew we couldn’t beat out the Lake. Which we did see, when we went to visit. Stan will miss their long phone chats about the Blue Jays, and how poorly they did, . He loved his cats. We will miss him. Know he was loved.

Dear Norma, We are all saddened by Glenn's departure. I have sweet memories of our playing catch in your parent's backyard, swinging on the rope of our tree fort, searching for bottles in the seaweed on the St Croix, fishing with cousin Dave, and savouring the music of his dad, my dad, and grandpa Thornton. Aren't we all the richer for having been granted those special summer days. The Thornton clan in Ontario--though separated by time and geography--continue to remember you and your family with much fondness. Love to all! Bill

Very sorry to hear about Glen. I still remember how he watched horror movies, but couldn’t sleep in his room after. And how he really liked those cheese cakes and I had to make one every day the whole summer.

Norma and family - Susan and I send our deepest condolences on Glenn’s passing. Our friendship goes back to our teenage years and continued to this day even though we didn’t get to see each other as much in recent years. Many fond memories of time spent on the ball field, at work at the Flakeboard or just bumming around in his Nova.
