So sorry to read of Olive’s passing. I enjoyed many hours tying out quilts at Helen’s with her and sharing stories and some good laughs. She was also a dear friend to my mom. My condolences to all the family.
I thank God for women like Olive. A friend to many, she spanned the generations by first being a good friend to my mother-in-law Pearl and then to me. My family was welcomed to Grand Manan by her and Bill, and they were the best of neighbours. A great testament of faith with a wonderful sense of humour and love of games. I regret the loss of contact over the last years, but was so glad to follow the GM Nursing Home Facebook page, where I could catch glimpses of her enjoying the activities. Brian and I both send our sincere condolences to the family knowing you have many memories of a wonderful mother and sister. Love, Gail & Brian Steeves
Melody and I extend our prayers, condolences and love to Gregg and Mickie, and the rest of this Russell clan, as you say your earthly goodbyes to a wonderful family matriarch. May He who calms the storm bring the peace that passeth all understanding to all of your hearts at this difficult hour. Psalm 91
